Price: Our online price is only $2.79 per
bag, which includes any applicable sales tax. That's about
1/3-off the price most retailers charge for our product, and way
less than half of what our top national competitor charges
for theirs.
Shipping: We don't have a
"shipping mark-up." We charge only our actual
costs. But keep this in mind when thinking about shipping
charges: The key is "per unit" cost, which decreases
dramatically with each additional bag you order. Here are some
"break-even" points to keep in mind:
- When you buy just
2 bags online, you're paying less per bag WITH
SHIPPING than our top national competitor charges for
their product BEFORE shipping.
- When you buy 8 bags online, your TOTAL
COST WITH SHIPPING is about 85 cents more than you'd
pay for the same order at a local Colorado feed store!
- When you buy 10 bags or more
online, you're actually paying LESS WITH SHIPPING
than you'd pay for the same order at a local retailer! That's
right! You save money by letting us ship your
order to your door!
Orders
of 4 bags or less are shipped by U.S. Postal Service Priority
Mail at a flat rate of $8.95 and typically arrive within
two to three business days. Larger orders are shipped by
either UPS Ground or U.S. Postal Service Parcel Post, depending
on which is least expensive based on shipping address
and weight. If you'd like your order shipped to a P.O.
Box, we have to send it by Parcel Post.
Packages shipped by UPS Ground or Parcel Post may take up
to a week to arrive.
Each single-serving package of Ready
Mash® measures 8"x8"x2" and weighs 20
ounces (except Ready Mash® with
Electrolytes, which weighs 18
ounces).
Why
don't we offer "free" shipping and just charge a little more
per bag? Besides believing in honest
pricing, if we rolled shipping charges into the price of the
product, we'd have to pay sales tax on the cost of shipping,
which would drive our prices up. By accounting for shipping
separately, we pass the savings on to
you.
Do I have to sign up for PayPal, or can I just use my
credit card? You can pay
by credit card without signing up for a PayPal account. Or if
you'd prefer to use one of PayPal's other convenient payment
options, signing up for a free account takes just a few
minutes.
We use PayPal because it's less costly and
more secure than other online payment processing
portals. PayPal also provides substantial fraud protection for
shoppers and merchants alike.
Refunds: Our customer service goal is
simple. Every customer should be completely satisfied with
every purchase. Period. If for some reason we haven't
met this goal, we'll cheerfully refund your purchase price, less
shipping. All we ask is that - if possible - you do
us the favor of letting us know how we could improve next
time.
